Oscar-Nominated The Face of the Faceless to Release in Telugu on 21 November

Telegana, November 16, 2025: The internationally acclaimed, Oscar-nominated film The Face of the Faceless will reach Telugu-speaking audiences on 21 November. Produced by Try Light Creations with support from Divyavani Social Communications, the film will be released across cinemas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, carrying its message of love, peace, and forgiveness to the region.

At a press meet held at the Telugu Film Chamber, former actor Raja emphasised the film’s emotional depth. “Forgiveness is divine, and this film beautifully depicts the sacrifice of Sister Rani Maria. With 123 awards and an Oscar nomination, it truly deserves everyone’s support,” he said.

Dr I. Lourdu Raj, CEO of Divyavani Social Communications, highlighted the film’s central theme. “Forgiveness leads to true peace. This film will surely touch the hearts of the audience,” he noted. Deepak John, Chairman of the Telangana Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, underscored the film’s social relevance, calling it “a voice for the voiceless” and confirming its release in nearly 50 cinemas across the Telugu states.

Director Vamshi Krishna shared that celebrated singers Hariharan and Chitra have contributed to the film’s music, adding further artistic depth. Reverend Bishop Wilson described the production as “a powerful story of courage, love, and compassion.”

The Face of the Faceless is inspired by the life of Sister Rani Maria Vattalil and features Vincy Aloysius in the lead role, portraying the profound journey of a nun committed to serving the poor and empowering women.

As the film prepares for its 21 November release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the team warmly invites audiences to experience it on the big screen with their families and friends.
