New Hindi YOUCAT Version Released at CCBI XVI National Catechetical Conference

Jaipur, September 23, 2025 – The Hindi version of YOUCAT (Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church) was officially released today during the XVI CCBI National Catechetical Conference. The book is published by Asian Trading Corporation in Bangalore. Widely accepted by youth worldwide, this catechism is a highly useful resource that covers the core tenets of the Catholic faith, including sacraments, daily life, and prayer. It also addresses modern questions and challenges faced by young people today.

The release was led by Bishop Joseph Kallarakal of Jaipur, along with several other key Church leaders, including Bishop Emeritus Oswald Lewis, Bishop Anand Jojo, Deputy Secretary General of the CCBI Fr. Stephen Alathara, and Fr. Vijay Machado, the Executive Secretary of the Commission for Faith Formation and Director of YOUCAT India.
