ICYM Holy Family Parish, Assam, Hosts Youth Mass and Honours Academic Achievers

Assam, 26 May 2025: In a joyous celebration of faith and achievement, the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of Holy Family Parish, Japrajan, organised a vibrant Youth Mass on 25 May at St. Mary Immaculate Church, Rongagora. The Eucharistic celebration, led by Rev. Fr. Arockiam, brought together over 150 enthusiastic young people from the community, fostering a spirit of unity and spiritual growth.


The highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, during which 21 HSLC and HS pass-out candidates were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements. By recognising these young achievers, ICYM not only acknowledged their dedication and perseverance but also inspired them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavours.


Through this initiative, ICYM Holy Family Parish, Japrajan, reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the faith and holistic development of young people in the parish. By offering a platform to come together, celebrate faith, and honour their peers’ accomplishments, the movement strengthened the values of community, faith, and mutual encouragement.
