Atmadarshan TV Announces Lifetime Achievement Awards for Faith and Service Icons

Indore, October 15, 2025: Atmadarshan TV has announced its inaugural Lifetime Achievement Awards, honouring three exceptional individuals: Fr. Babu Chirayath from the Diocese of Udaipur and the couple Mr. S.L. Swamy and Dr. Isabella Swamy from the Diocese of Indore, for their profound contributions to faith, education, and social transformation. The glittering National Bible Quiz Award Night on 22 October in Indore will celebrate their legacies.

Born in 1963 in Thrissur, Kerala, Fr. Babu Chirayath, a state topper and Gold Medallist from Calicut University, earned a Doctorate in Biblical Theology from Rome and is fluent in six languages. His pastoral and academic work across Banswara, Udaipur, and other dioceses has shaped generations through teaching, writing, and leadership.

As a professor in Major Seminaries and Juniorates, he created the Hindi Catechism series, the Logos Bible Quiz, and the spiritual magazine ‘Logos’. After leading the Agra Regional Catechism Commission for 22 years, he now serves as Parish Priest at Udaipur Cathedral.

From Vettavalam, Tamil Nadu, Mr. S.L. Swamy founded the ‘Easy English Institute’ in Indore, empowering thousands with language skills. Joined by Dr. Isabella, an English Literature postgraduate and Bharatanatyam dancer, in 1985, the couple established St. Mary Champion H.S. School in 1992 with just ₹5,000.

Now a thriving institution with over 1,700 students and two campuses, the school reflects Dr. Isabella’s H²D philosophy: Honesty, Hard Work & Dedication. Her leadership has earned her multiple awards including The Pride of Madhya Pradesh Award by Dainik Bhaskar. Renowned for their Church commitment, they nurture a model family and contribute significantly to the local Church in India.
