Pray that we may willingly share in the sufferings of the poor and those in need, following the example of Christ. Help us to remain grateful for every blessing we have received and give us strength to face our greatest concerns, especially…

St. Francis, you willingly gave up a comfortable life and embraced poverty and service for the sake of Jesus. Teach us not to become attached to material possessions or worldly pleasures.
