Bengaluru, Sept. 2, 2025 — The Bangalore province of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ sisters organised a special programme for Catholic parents on August 31 at Aradhana Academy, Bengaluru. Spearheaded by Sr. Molly, the academy's director, the event aimed to promote fraternity, spiritual growth, and strong parenting skills among the participants. The programme drew a significant turnout of parents from across Bengaluru city.
Fr. Vinay Kumar, Karnataka Regional Secretary for the Interreligious Dialogue Commission, served as the resource person for the event. In his address, he highlighted the role of the family as a “Domestic Church”, the importance of nurturing children’s spiritual quotient, and practical ways to integrate Gospel values into modern Catholic parenting. He also emphasised the significance of interreligious co-living in India’s pluralistic society, providing parents with valuable insights and strategies to promote harmony and mutual understanding with people of other faiths.
Sr. Mini, Provincial Superior of the Adorers Sisters’ Bangalore Province, graced the programme with her presence, offering her support to the initiative. The seminar concluded with a fellowship meal, during which parents connected and shared their personal views and experiences.
Expressing his gratitude, Fr. Vinay Kumar appreciated the efforts of the Sisters of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ for organising the event and bringing parents together for spiritual enrichment and community building.
The meeting successfully provided a platform for parents to grow in faith, build relationships, and gain practical insights for raising children rooted in Christian values.
