CCBI Commission for Proclamation

The Commission for proclamation aims to motivate all the Baptized to be missionary disciples: Called and sent therefore all are partners in the proclamation of the Good News and become collaborators by participating in mission activities by: Walking together in communion to be pilgrims of hope in view of a Spirit- filled Church; Motivating and training people of God to become Spirit – filled ‘Missionary Disciples’ to be witnesses in every region, diocese and parish; Empowering and training special groups like women, youth and all formees to live and witness gospel values;

Strengthening basic faith communities like families, BECs, Parish Pastoral Teams, Diocesan Pastoral Teams and Regional Pastoral Teams as effective witnesses/ proclaimers/ missionaries and building the awareness that all are the children of God.

 Suvarta Kendra is the National Center for New Evangelization with the joy of the Gospel. New Evangelization is the only genuine hope for a better world and a brighter future. In tune with the strategic planning, forming of Missionary Disciples through various training programs in every Region, Diocese, Parish and Congregations and formation of Pastoral Teams is the goal of proclamation Commission. Through these activities the commission intends to motivate the catechists, lay leaders and faith workers with the zeal and fire of the Holy Spirit to evangelize themselves and the neighborhood. Thus all baptized are able to proclaim the Gospel by word and by witness of life.
