Meghnagar, Madhya Pradesh, June 12, 2025: St. Arnold’s Church, Meghnagar, a parish under the Diocese of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh, hosted a vibrant and enriching summer camp for members of the parish's Young Catholic Students (YCS) unit from June 5 to 7, 2025. Held under the theme ‘Raise to Grace’, the three-day camp brought together 40 students from across the parish.
The primary aim of the camp was to nurture the participants' spiritual growth and leadership skills through faith-based learning, meaningful discussions, and acts of service.
Fr. Vishal Mal, Youth Director of the Diocese, inaugurated the camp with an opening prayer that set a reflective tone for the days that followed. Over the course of the camp, participants, guided by the See–Judge–Act methodology, engaged in interactive learning sessions, group discussions, and practical service-based activities.
Fr. Andrew Lobo introduced the camp’s central theme on the first day. Under his guidance—and with the dedicated support of the YCS Core Team and NEXCO member Anuj Ninama—participants explored contemporary challenges facing youth, reflected on Gospel values, and planned concrete acts of service.
Throughout the camp, Fr. Vishal Mal remained actively involved, offering spiritual guidance and encouragement during shared meals, prayer moments, and the concluding Eucharistic celebration.
By the end of the camp, the 40 participants emerged with renewed faith, new friendships, and a commitment to “raising grace” in their daily lives and their parish communities.
