CCBI Youth Commission Holds Online Prayer Service for Pope Francis’ Recovery

Bangalore, February 22, 2025: The CCBI Youth Commission organised an online prayer service on February 21, 2025, to pray for the good health and swift recovery of Pope Francis following his hospitalisation. The virtual gathering brought together 94 participants from across India, including representatives from ICYM, YCS/YSM, Jesus Youth, YU4C, and various other Catholic youth movements.

During the prayer service, the participants recited the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and offered petitions for the Holy Father’s health, strength, and resilience. Special intentions were made for the Pope's speedy recovery. The event served as a platform for young Catholics to express their solidarity and devotion, lifting up Pope Francis in prayer during this challenging time.

Through collective prayers, the youth placed their trust in God’s healing power and prayed for the Pope’s well-being and continued guidance as he leads the Church. The initiative reflected the deep faith and commitment of the youth towards the spiritual and physical well-being of the Holy Father.
