430+ Young Singles Gather in Bangalore for Meet and Greet Gala

Bangalore, January 20, 2025: Catholic Connect Matrimony, an initiative of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI), hosted its first-ever ‘Meet and Greet Gala’ at the serene Paalanaa Bhavana premises on January 19 in collaboration with Logos Matrimony. With the wholehearted support of Archbishop Peter Machado of Bangalore, the event brought together young, unmarried Catholics to foster meaningful relationships through faith, fun, and fellowship.

The day unfolded with a series of engaging activities and insightful talks by renowned speakers, Mr. Noel Sequeira and Fr. Varghese Thomas from Logos Matrimony, who offered valuable perspectives on marriage, relationships, and life. Testimonies from individuals who shared their personal journeys of love and faith added a deeply moving and relatable dimension to the event, leaving attendees inspired and hopeful.

The spiritual highlight of the day was the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Archbishop Peter Machado, along with Fr. Cyril Victor Joseph, Catholic Connect Coordinator, and Fr. Varghese Thomas. In his heartfelt homily, the Archbishop reminded participants that "Marriages are made in heaven and only lived on earth," urging them to trust God’s timing, accept one another’s imperfections, and embrace love as a divine gift. The Mass was followed by a fellowship lunch, allowing attendees to continue building connections in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Under the seamless leadership of Mr. Abhishek Joseph, General Manager of Catholic Connect, and Mr. Naveen Anthony, Head of Catholic Connect Matrimony, along with other team members—Raymond, Denis, Abhishek B, Canisha, Melwin, Benisha, and Janet—the event marked a significant milestone in creating a space for faith-based relationships. The Meet and Greet Gala served as a testament to the Church’s commitment to guiding young Catholics in their journey toward a Christ-centered marital vocation.
