St. Dominic Savio, whose feast day is celebrated on 6 May in the Roman Catholic Church, remains a powerful example of youthful holiness and purpose. Canonised by Pope Pius XII on 12 June 1954, he is one of the youngest non-martyred saints in Church history. Though his life lasted only fourteen years, the clarity and depth of his faith left an extraordinary legacy.
